I can't speak for the Elac's center performance, maybe it's not a very good center. Occasionally I watch stuff with a 2.0 mix...

Don't think you can get a better match front stage than 3 near identical/identical L/C/R. I think the horizontal center was invented to battle space...

A big plus for a center channel is the ability to separate dialog from the main soundtrack. Some people have a hard time understand downmixed dialog clearly...

Couldn't that be just attributed to lack of level normalization on the streaming service? It's very common when moving between any two sources....

The 752 looked quite well on the top shelf I thought. It's right on the edge of it.
I have to say I usually don't like how horn waveguides (?) ...

That is a very attractive setup. Very cool to see the older speakers next to the new ones. The center is quite large :)

Should be lots of spike options on eBay/Amazon/Parts-Express. But figuring out which will be an exact match can be tedious. PE for example doesn't seem...

I think Jon said the threaded hole is M8, so you just need to know the length. I believe someone already mentioned it here....

Gliders are usually used for heavy stuff that is very hard to lift and move, so you use those to drag them on a carpet (they work on hard floors too)...

Just to be clear. I didn't use those on the Chane subs. Someone else did and seems happy with it. You play for the brand name and for the fancy design...

The SVS feet come with a few sets of different screws. He didn't mention needing to buy alternative ones, so I guess one of them worked. But I can't answer...

Is it? That's too expensive then. SVS has the upper metal part too. Reviews says this one is pretty hard rubber, the SVS has fairly squishy. It also comes...
