  • Almost have my subs completed

Got the enclosures back from a local cabinet builder I gave the plans to. Should be operational tomorrow evening.

I'm using the 12" Infinity Kappa Perfect VQ and a Behringer EP2500 to power them. EQ will be coming from a SMS-1.

Thanks, believe it or not she is actually a pound puppy from when we were helping the local pound by providing foster care.

If I wasn't so damn tired I'd finish them up tonight but work kicked my butt today.

Ours was too! 1 year old at the time purebred shepherd that was trained to obey hand signals. Talk about lucky. He was scheduled to go to the police the next day if we hadn't adopted him.

Any thoughts of posting the picture of your Shepherd in the Audio Hotties thread? She is posed with the subwoofer enclosures! :)
          Sent to my room. :smoke1:

Thanks and yes they are huge!! I have nowhere to put them except up front and that means no more floorstanders.

The Infinity 142s just don't go low enough. I have my x-over set at 90hz and sit have a gap in FR between the subs and speakers.

Going to start looking at new speakers, oh darn.

I wonder what some Emo 6.3's would look like on top...

                  Ok, I am really board...

I do kinda like it though...

LOL, Nice!! Yeah, I'm going to do some research for a dynamic bookshelf that will be able to keep up with these subs. I need to brush up on the EMO speakers, haven't looked at them in awhile.

You know Matt. Dwayland is absolutely right about the 6.3's working out nice with those. Buy three for the front stage just like he PShop'd.

I'll take a closer look at the 6.2, the 6.3 are more than I want to spend right now.
