Interesting Sub

I occasionally search AV123 on ebay looking for candidates for replacement drivers. This is the second time that search has brought up something out of the ordinary. Love the BS in the item description:biglaugh:

The driver sure looks beastly! I do remember Mark talking about this sub. It looks nice but most likely not worth the price and with zero warranty and a whopping 3-days to return it ... no thanks. I really like the look of it though and the silver plate amp looks really cool.

The seller also has Audio Alchemy amps and Onix interconnects/video cables. Interesting.

One Audio Alchemy OM-150 Power Amplifier - Like Brand New in Box. A rare opportunity to own one of the finest "budget" amplifiers ever built in brand new condition. I was able to purchase 3 of these from an individual that was involved with the design of these amplifiers. These amps are old stock that was originally set up for 220v. They were recently modified by one of the original engineers to work on 110v. They are essentially brand new as they have never previously been used.

The one pictured is now in my personal system, and I can tell you that is it the very best sounding amp I have ever owned (Sunfire, Adcom, Proceed, Denon, Outlaw, Emotiva etc.) Sure, there are likely better amps out there... but not at this price.

I remember the plans for this subwoofer, and also remember not being overly excited about it... There was talk about how the sides fit together and whether the majority liked it or not.

I actually kinda like the way the sides look, it's different. Definitely can see others not liking it though.

I do have one, but not put together by the ebay seller or AV123. It's a great sub.
