iphone/ipod cable recommendation

Can anyone recommend a USB to RCA cable that would work with an iPhone/iPod? I did some searches and it seems the following would work:

I tried almost every different type of cable for my Ipod and found any cable that connects to the dock connection will give you the best sound. My Ipod is a 5th generation with no problems.

Thanks for letting me know. That's definitely a positive. It seems that the iPods usually don't have much trouble with those types of connections. However, reviews are inconsistent with the iPhones, as to whether a cable is compatible with certain versions or not.

Most likely a pre-amp or a receiver/pre-pro. It seems every audio show I've been to, there have always been someone wanting to hook up their ipod/iphone to our products to listen to their tunes. It's definitely not the best format, but I wanted to be as accommodating as possible.

I did visit their room at CES while I was running around looking for a solution. While their stuff is really nice, I wasn't wanting to shell out the $ then.
