    I have some cabinets being built for me by Ruben -

    Here are a few shots of the speakers...I don't have them in hand yet

    Wow, those are purty...Ruben sure does some fine work...

                Picked these babies up yesterday from Fedex. Now I need to start on the crossovers and decide on the staining.:D

                    So Ruben sent some samples of the veneer and here are some testing samples -

                    1 coat Brown Mahogany



                    1 coat Medium Brown



                    1 coat Java



                    Left to right - Watco Medium Walnut, Dark Walnut, Black Walnut all one coat.




                    I also did one with clear shellac but don't have a pic of it. It is very light/natural looking.

                              I believe Ruben took that center speaker design, with the cross piece of wood on the edge, from a forum member on AC. Ruben made a comment on it, that it was a nice design but I couldn't see it. Ruben took it to a whole different level :salute:.
