  • Should I get this Pioneer Elite VSX-31

I need a new receiver for the bedroom that has HDMI v1.4, since I just got a new TV for the bedroom with HDMI 1.4 and wanted to upgrade the audio side. I saw this Elite VSX-31 on Amazon for a pretty dang good price. Wondering if I should get it (I've not heard of Sunset Audio, but Amazon is good at backing up their sellers):

I would wait unless you have to have it right now, the new DTS spec is on its way(they had a demo of it at CES) and a bunch of new recievers/processors will be released soon. So I would wait till that happens and pick one of the new spec up or wait till they start blowing the old models out and get one of those for even less.

Thanks, Kevin. I didn't realize new specs for DTS are on the way. I didn't get to attend the video portion of the show :( I can wait for the new receivers to see if I want them or just go with the older models when the prices drop.
