RSC200 Sig vs Non-Sig to Ninja X-Over

Hi,

So, from what I know, the difference between the Signature and Non-Signature version is just the upgraded crossover right?

So if I am going to be upgrading to a Ninja crossover, then either a Sig or Non-Sig edition would end up at the same place in the end since the entire crossover is replaced anyways?

I understand that the Elite is only for the Sig version (upgrades stock x-over), but the "Ninja Upgrade" and the "Ninja Master" should end up the same on Sig and Non-Sig?

Any suggestions on how much of a difference this "Ninja Upgrade" will be as compared to the "Ninja Master"?

PS: What is this cabinet upgrade option? Is this the No-Rez?

Sorry if it feels like I'm beating a dead horse, but, well, I can get a Non-sig for cheaper and if it ends up the same with the Ninja upgrade, then why the hell not? :)

You could ask Sean/"The Ninja" himself either by phone or on his site to confirm, but I think you are correct in what you've said.

If you do a Ninja Master, there's no point to purchasing a stock Signature version if it's more expensive than the original version. The stock XO would be replaced in this scenario.

You'd have to ask Sean why the 'Ninja Upgrade' has been deleted from options for most models.

Cabinet upgrade is NoRez.

Using what I've gathered from other threads long ago, a Signature version with Elite level upgrades and NoRez will take you to 85-90% of the level of a Ninja Master version with NoRez. The two biggest reasons for the significant cost difference is the cost of the new inductors (not included in the Elite upgrade) and the price difference between Erse Pulse X and Sonicaps, which gets wider as the values increase.

We don't offer the Ninja version any more as it was not very popular.

My feeling on this is if you are going to the trouble of all point to point connections and all new custom boards, you might as well go with the best components (Ninja Master).

Agreed. Go for the non-sig if you are thinking Ninja Master. You will get to the same place in the end! If you are thinking Ninja Elite, you need a sig model for sure.
