2 channel amp to single speaker

I'm buying 3 SHO-10s to replace my current fronts and center and plan to use the fronts as rears in a 7.1 setup. That leaves me with a perfectly good unused center. Question: Can I buy a Gizmo, input from a TV stereo pre out or headphone jack, and hook both Gizmo outputs to the old center? Will there be an impedance problem with the 4 ohm Gizmo?

You can't hook all four speaker level outputs to one speaker, bad things will happen and you can't just use a splitter in reverse to convert stereo to mono. Is there an option to select mono output on your TV?

I got the impression that he wants to use the gizmo and center channel on a second TV.
