Home brew entertainment center

When the 30 year old "bookshelf" speakers were retired the new towers needed to fit in the same footprint so I needed a new entertainment center.
The first pic is the old setup and the second one is the new setup.

nice, i assume you built that yourself. judging by the home brew part?

any pics of the build process?

Thanks, yes I built the new one myself to fit my stuff, sorry but no build pics.
This is the first time I have built a drawer and I am very pleased with the way it turned out.
Everything that can be seen is furinture grade plywood and select pine.
It is stained with Minwax Honey Pecan and finished with water based satin poly-u.

A friend of mine built the one in the first pic in 1980 to fit the stuff I had at the time. Over the years I modified it to fit different stuff. It is still a very good piece of furniture.
