What are important features to look for and what brand and model #s, TomTom, Magellan, or Garmin?

What gps can you guys suggest me?

A couple places for some good info:
It is more than difficult to find a good GPS review on the Internet. The reason is this: GPS devices all do the same thing. They show your location on an electronic map, and then show you how to get where you're going. Now, by GPS device I mean a car GPS device that you buy separately from your automobile and either hang from a bracket on your windshield or put next to you on the seat.
We needed one for when we moved back in November and I didn't really have alot of time to compare brands/features so I went with a garmin 255W and so far I don't really have any complaints for the features. I know we haven't used all the bells and whistles but it works for us.

Does your garmin tell you the street name to turn on or just left turn or right turn etc?
