Are these guys legit? I mean...I know they are legit..but has anyone heard their stuff?

They have a center with a Kapton Ribbon Tweeter (never heard one before but read about them) and it is only $199 with a few finish options. Seems a little too good to be true and their website is almost too much focused on being good website and I worry the speakers are an after thought.

Luis over at AV123 did a review of the previous generation Level 3's to the X-LS/CS (I think that was the one he compared them against) and liked the X's better. This was before HTD redid the tweet though so they may sound a lot better now.

I can say their finishes are very nice. I got a sample from them a few years ago and they were all nice looking/feeling. I'd like to listen to them sometime but have never forked over my own $$$ to hear them. I think there's a pretty big following on AVS but I'm too lazy right now to look :whistle:

I had the old Level 3s, they replaced my NHT Super Ones. They were better than the Super Ones, my mom has them now. Haven't heard the new version.
I would be really surprised if the WAF-1s aren't better, but it would be fun to get a comparison.

My personal opinion...these look considerably better than the WAF-1's...which is pretty ironic really.

Just my thoughts....I am really considering going three MTM's across the front and an acoustically transparent screen and new screen wall...

I only have exp. with their outdoor series, but they sound quite nice for outdoor speakers. Very rich, full sound.

I can vouch for these guys. They are definitely legit. Great customer service to boot. My old HTD outdoors died a while ago due to birds liking to put nests on them, and I mentioned it to HTD when I placed an order for their new outdoor speakers. They gave those to me for free (probably also because I had been a good customer). Their current speakers are pretty nice.

Last year a close friend of mine ordered from them. He didn't want to go with the WAF's due to the rear port (I tried). Anyway, they arrived in fine shape, and he really likes them. I've not heard them myself, but the transaction was smooth

Me and my Dad have some of their outdoor speakers. Very, very good for the money. Never heard their indoor stuff, but have always liked the way they looked. Great CS, too.

There is nothing to complain about with their speakers and like others stated, their customer service is very good.

My personal opinion...these look considerably better than the WAF-1's...which is pretty ironic really.

Yeah, I am not a fan of the stained rosewood either unless it is the piano version which does look quite nice.
