  • Polk LS 50s

    Guys,

I need some advice. I have a pair of Polk Audio LS 50s I bought new about 15 years ago. I keep having drivers go out...I had one replaced but the cost and bother is a pain, so now they just sit unused.

Any thoughts on this situation? Can I use the enclosures with new speakers? Should I try to source old drivers (and where does that leave me)? Am I just being sentimental?

I really hate throwing these away as they are not only easy on the eyes but back in the day they sounded nice to me.

    Help!!!

I would email Polk, they are really good about keeping stock on old model drivers, cross-overs, grills, etc.

Polk does seem to be very good about this. Even their owner's manuals contain the crossover schematic!
