  • Amp Stand

Well, got the first of my Adona stands in this evening. I think I put it together right:woo:

It's pretty heavy, and seems to be very well made. Here's a pic with my existing amp. I've purchased a pair of Emotiva XPA-1's that will hopefully be here sometime next week, but I don't think the other stand will be here by then. I need to order another one to put my TADAC on, but I haven't figured out which one to get....it will have to be smaller. It's gonna get crowded across the front with everything....my second pair of speakers is shipping out tomorrow, so I'll have 4 speakers (2 on each side) plus the three Adona stands. I'll have more room for everything though at the new house.

Veeeery nice Jason! Congrats! The Adona racks are excellent and your first one looks great in the pic, enjoy your new setup!

      Thanks Art.

I know I already talked with you about this, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone is interested.

I ordered these as an aesthetic upgrade for my new amps (still waiting on those). I thought they looked cool (and they do). I've read about folks saying how their stands 'sounded' better and all, but honestly I didn't buy into it one iota.

...until now. There was an immediate, easily discernable improvement. I gained a little more depth, but the best term I can think of is the image 'floated' more. More 3D.

I'm still amazed at the difference. It was more than subtle.
