Personally I think album art is overrated. I have it on my Duet remote, and rarely look at it, even when selecting artists, albums, or tracks...but that doesn't stop me from being anal retentive about it in iTunes so it is there...
I would share the concern about it adding noise...."Let the floating wall float" - m-fineComment

These look like nice updates to the product line. I have a SB3 and enjoy it.
Then again, in my theater I have a PS3 which costs about the same amount and has most of the SB3 functionality while also playing Blu-Ray discs and games as well. So the dedicated unit starts looking a little pricey. I do enjoy being able to sort playlists with a mouse on the computer, though.Comment

That is pretty cool. I listen to almost all my music on my sb3, although, I do think the cover flow in iTunes is pretty cool. I like to listen to albums and album art really helps me find something I want to listen to.
Apple TV is now cheaper than squeezebox for the base model, if they supported FLAC I would be tempted to go that route. I have a smallish lcd for the kids games and movies during the day and use the projector at night so firing up the lcd wouldn't be a big deal to me and I already have an external dac.Comment
