  • What projects are you working on?

Just curious what everyone is working on?

    I have got:
    • GR AV-1RS - currently finishing the veneer and then assembling the network.
    • Passive preamp - design is finalized, collecting parts.
    • Condor power supply - ordered two linear ps (dweekie find) for Virtue amps and possible 41hz kit.
    • Power one power supply - originally slated for SB3 but since purchasing external dac has moved to the wayside.
    • Installing GIK acoustical panels.

    Planning stage:
    • GR dual SW-12 subwoofer.
    • 41hz 5 channel amp.
    • Ceiling speakers for kitchen.

        • Matching coffee table and end tables
        • DIY sound absorbers to round sound system
        • Computer/drafting corner desk with matching cabinet/bookcase

Yeah, I got enough going on for now.

I'm waiting on billnchristy's tube pre-amp kit ( not that I have any time to put it together) and wondering if I can actually do it...

I'm planning on a 5'3" Sonosub with (3) 10" NHT subs tuned to 17hz and powered by a ULW-10 Amp.

This weekend I put in a new 20 amp circuit in the garage and ran 7 outlets including (1) 20amp twist lock receptical for my PDU that is powering my soon to be finished home network. The garage is all sheetrocked and painted so I ran it all in conduit and had nice boxes and black 20amp recepticals for it all. It turned out pretty good for a non-electrician :D

Sounds cool. Are you building 3 separate tubes, or doing something slick with all three in 1 tube??

All three in one 24" diameter tube :dizzy: It's not gonna be a small little baby and from what I've heard, it should have very good output with these drivers as well.

Nope, (3) 10" drivers will fit in a 24" diameter hole. They are all just sitting pretty next to each other forming a triangle. I've already modeled the faceplate in Visio to make sure it fits :D

Trying to find time to upgrade my RS1Ks to Ninja MAster status.

Not happening anytime soon it would seem.
