  • DIY Speakers Cables

I have some nice AWG 12 speaker wire I got from monoprice. Looking for a source for terminations and shielding to make some nice DIY cables. Thanks

Can't help you with the shielding, but check out these guys for bannana connectors: http://www.speakerrepair.com/Merchan...ode=AHH_Banana

Lots of people here use the Black Chrome, Safe Connect or Locking ones and all seem to be really happy with them. I use the Black Chrome ones on all of my speakers and really like the way they work for the price.

Does anyone make the plug connectors in other colors so if you would pull all the connectors off of the receiver/amp, they would be color coded to identify left, center, right, etc. easier?.

I haven't seen that, but a P-Touch should make it pretty easy. Just print off some small labels and attach them to the connectors :D
