  • How to define Irony - Steveo, FPB, Matt and Seth

The irony for the first part of this thread is merely gentle poking fun at FPB for thinking I am a right wing conservative ...

Look at what Steveo just posted at AVS ...

And we all know that CS has had a business relationship with MLS for several years now. He can't thread the needle on that one. Craigsub is the Joe Biden of AV123. And he sounds like a used car salesman to boot. And have you ever dealt with one of those guys?

Craig, why don't you just come clean about Mark's role with TCA and when it REALLY started?

Craig are you sure what YOU are saying is not pure BS? OK so the ownership of the legal entities is indeed separate, but we both know AV123 and TCA operationally have been two different retail channels of the same company.

Mark was up to his eyeballs in TCA long before the MFW review, OK not designing products himself, but coordinating the designers, lining up suppliers, even strategizing which parts of the market TCA would serve and which AV123 would serve. Clearly your relationship with Mark and AV123 designers, suppliers, and factories has a tremendous impact on your ability to get into the industry and for TCA to even exist. Heck Mark and AV123 have troubles in 2008 and you are forced to "close" TCA because of a lack of products. Coincidence...heck no! Your firms operate as one in the same and the issues Mark had with suppliers and factories affected BOTH firms.

I am not sure what purpose continuing to deceive people serves in your mind, but I think you really need to come clean about this stuff and start being honest for a change.

This was posted by MLS on your forum on 11-24-2008 in a thread titled mls joins TCA in an Official Role in the Product Announcements section:

I know I always have my friends handle my RMAs and order fulfillment too.

I would think that in a thread about the MFW-15 that refers to someones review and ranking of the sub, the credibility, and business relationships of the reviewer might be pertinent info for someone evaluating the review and contemplating a purchase. YMMV.

Jump forward to January, 2009, three plus months after this subwoofer issue was made public, and I announce that TCA would be closing once we sold out of inventory. It's pretty hard to run a store with no inventory. I said on the same day (January 4) that I will figure something out for those people who were planning to use the $50 credit towards a future product. All I asked for was some time to sort things out.

I expect stupidity from Steveo. And he did not let me down.

There will come a time when I possibly will responde to both Matt and Seth in detail.

For now, I wanted to keep their posts here in case the mods at AVS decide to terminate the posts there.

Once AV123 reopens the forum - and assuming MLS gets things better organized there, I plan on having the remaining Gizmos sent to Erie for our fulfillment center.

This will include returns - we will likely have some "blem" units, too.

So yes, count on some "B" and maybe "C" stock.

                      Craig,

Those guys just don't get your dry sense of humor, do they?

I was a little taken back by Seth's comments since I too thought you two hit it off at your September 2007 GTG. Is it me or does anyone else think Seth reminds them of Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory TV show...takes everything literally, doesn't understand sarcasm, and lacks a sense of humor.

Hey, when are you and Curtis going to kiss and make up? :poke: :assshake: :neener:

Cool. I have been following the thread over there for the last couple of days.

Gonna be fun to see what happens when ever AV123 comes back on line.

You know, I'm sure Curtis is a nice guy.... but he follows his own inner truth. No matter how far out of the realm of reality it is sometimes. Once he's convinced himself of something, there is never any going back on it. I still don't think he believes that (prior to my flooding problems), my HT speakers (I have no HT right now) consisted of AUDES Blues as R/L mains, the AUDES Sentral center channel, the Studios as rear surrounds. Even though I posted a review and thank you in the guestbook of the AUDES USA website in 2001 (I think the guestbook is gone now thanks to spammers), posted a review on Audioreview.com as well in 2001 or was it 2002? I also posted many times about them going back YEARS on the AVS forum, have them listed in my profile in both AVS and AV123 personal profiles since 2002.... I still think he's convinced that my house is full of Rocket Rosewood.

Not that he comes right out and says it mind you.... just little innuendos and comments that he used to send my way. Giving him a bit of credit, he hasn't done so recently, but then again, we haven't crossposted in the same thread in a long, long time either.

The "Jones" he seems to have for Craig though.... is just mind boggling.
