  • Any woodworking handheld router recommendations?

I had a Craftsman "multi-tool" for years, and the router portion finally died.. Budget is somewhere in the $100-200 range.. I don't need the "one router to rule them all," but am looking for something good for hobby projects. I don't need plunging either. The multi-tool that I had included plunge support, and I never used it. If I needed to, I could always build a jig that I could just "drop" the router into and do plunging that way..

I'm open to new and used purchases. Lifetime warranty's are nice because it's not going to get much use in any single year (the typical warranty period), but not a requirement.

    thanks all,
