  • Point and Shoot Camera recomendations?

Going on vacation overseas and dont want to lug a huge DSLR around.

been looking for a good point and shoot, I wont be shooting anything that I need high speed AF like car racing or baseball games. Some of the pics I may want to print at some point.

From what I have been reading, these days its really in the sensor size?
I have always been a canon kind of a guy. but I dont have any DSLR glass just a ton of FD mount stuff that I should sell along with my F1

Was looking at the EOS M but with lens its just bigger than I want to take.

Then looked at the S120 but ran across a lot of good talk about the Sony DSC-RX100 with its 1" sensor

Anyone want to tell me why not to go with the sony? I can get it for about $100 more than the canon s120

    Thanks

Cnet has always steered me in the right direction without seeming biased. You might give their reviews a checkout.

I only have an SLR, so I cannot speak from personal experience. But people I trust rave about the Sony, I don't think you can go wrong there.
