Oh well, apparently the thread title cannot be edited!

    Anyway:

Surprised this hasn't already been posted! It has been rough here in K-Town in recent years, hopefully things are on the upswing. It sure is hard to get back into the game in the SEC after you hit bottom!

You got that right! There is a lot of downward pressure, once you have troubles.

      Oh yeah... Roll Tide!

At least this guy says you've got an SEC win coming to you.

That guy is apparently unfamiliar with the Tennessee "Swiss Cheese" Defense. It didn't really rare its ugly head until the second half, but as usual, it made an appearance. In big games like that you have to take advantage of any opportunities. That botched play at the Florida 2 yard line, and somehow Florida gets the ball back! Flip that and UT fumbles, Florida recovers and probably scores on the next play. Missed opportunity! Florida gets a 15 yard penalty on a drive the were already in the hole with, resulting in a punt that flipped field position. Things look good for UT right, wrong, Bray gets intentional grounding for throwing to some worm that must have been open on the field. Down 2, 3, punt, field position advantage immediately negated.

Kiffin really screwed UT, and getting talent to come back here is much more challenging for any coach. Especially when your up against the Bama's, Florida's and LSU's, to name a few. Dooley seems to be getting some, and while the current bunch is doing okay, they lack that opportunistic edge that great teams have.

It was good to see USC go down, Kiffin, working his magic! Never agreed much with Al Davis, but he sure seemed be right about Kiffin!

                          Wow

I wondered after last weeks game if Georgia was for real, to be a top ten team they let UT stick around way to long in that game. Looks like South Carolina answered that question last night!

Both Georgia and Texas are not top ten teams. So their defeats were overdue in my opinion. Though I was surprised by some of the other losses this weekend. I don't want to see a Bama-Oregon national championship because it will be a slaughter. Oregon is way too small for Bama's power football SEC style of play.

I'm looking forward to an SEC championship game with The Gamecocks (Roll Tide!) That has the potential to be a great game - of course LSU does stand between the Tide and Atlanta.
