  • Wall mounts & entertainment center (photo's)

    Hello everyone, I tried looking but could not find any information on wall-mounting a pair of ERM 6.2.

    I did find this on amazon and wanted to know what you think? Will it work or should I get something else?

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...0X677C6V87BMRR

    The reason for the change is I have an 8 month old and she is starting to go every where and get into everything. I need it to be safe for her and still sound great for me. The speaker stands that my ERM 6.2's are currently on for my LR speakers can be easy to tip over. I would like a new entertainment center to hide the rest of my audio gear from prying hands, so the tower must go. would like to wall mount the speakers, Does anyone have any good ideas for both? See photos of my current set up. Oh and don't make fun of the off center TV, the plan is to move it a little bit higher and to the left when we get the entertainment center and speakers mounted.

    thanks for all your help

    p.s. this is a link for an entertainment set up i was look at

    For the speaker wall mounts;
    HuskerOmaha used these I think, the following post (47) links the Monoprice one.

    Someone had success mounting a SHO-10 with this Premier Mount.

    Make sure you know where the x-over board is, you wouldn't want to drill into it!

      Sbdman,

      Thanks for the reply and the links. I really didn’t want to put holes in the speakers and if I can get away with not having to put holes in them that would be great. but I guess if there is no other good option I will.

        I bought these mounts off Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SDXZT2 They are rated to 50 pounds, and easily handled my sho10's so they should do fine for the ERMs. You can see what they look like in my review thread here: http://www.chasehometheater.com/foru...7&postcount=40

        A little on the expensive side per mount at 40 buck per, but they are rock solid. You can see more detail here: http://www.premiermountsstore.com/pr...mount-ptm.aspx
