  • Is the world ending tomorrow?

The latest thread I read was that an earthquake at 6pm will hit every time zone, or something to that extent.

This isn't meant to be religious, political, etc. I'm just bored and it is poll time.

I'll be at work, just like always....
Meanwhile, my wife and friends are "volunteering" at the local beer festival.

I'm having drinks this weekend, either here on Earth or in whatever afterlife there may be. :D

And if there isn't any, then I guess I won't be missing anything. :salute:

Whatever I will be doing, it won't be thinking about this silliness. I could go off on a rant here, people can be so stupid, but I'll just leave it at this. Where is the science? Earthquakes all at once, everywhere? Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! :D

I'll probably remember well after it is all supposed to have happened, it'll be good for a chuckle at best.

That fringe group ought to be helping this poor guy instead...http://www.kcra.com/r/27955684/detail.html

We have way too many 18" drivers on hand for that to happen.

We can't allow those hundreds of drivers to go to waste.

So no, the world cannot end end until Craig gives the green light.

Perhaps we should run an "End of the world sale"?

I guess someone could always throw a red challenge flag and ask for a review. :peeping:

I chose the safe, politically correct answer. My gut feeling was something else.

Speaking of the universe;), latest estimates give the universe containing between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies. Each galaxy contains +or- a couple hundred billion stars.

You know, I think in all likelihood god wanted to destroy Earth, he just forgot where he put it. Quite understandable...

A comment from a Joplin, Mo tornado story.

"I don't want to seem Biblical, but while we're worrying about the Terrorists, we better start worrying about Mother Nature. Because the terrorists can't destroy the U.S. the way that Nature is."

What does he propose we do about this? Repent? People don't think before they speak. Watch that Doomsday group try to take credit for the tornado. :doh! 1:
