  • Next excuse for production delays!

A Black Hole swallows SCAMP & SASQUATCH mules....we have to start all over!

Scientists Wednesday applauded as one of the most ambitious experiments ever conceived got successfully underway, with protons being fired around a 27-kilometer (17-mile) tunnel deep beneath the border of France and Switzerland in an attempt to unlock the secrets of the universe.

Actually, I bet a MSII sub is more powerful than the LHC:mr-t:

We all know Chuck Norris is!:ufo:

No, a Seaton sub is not THAT powerful. OTOH, if you buy the 8 pack he recomends for most medium sized home theaters....

8 submersives? Isn't that a little excessive? What would that do to your house? And that's 16k right?

let me address these one at a time...

8 SubMersives, Terraform-XL's, Sasquatch-18's, maybe even SubMersive XL's if he ever finishes them. He seems to like multiples of 4 or 8 wherever 1 would "normally" do.

It depends on your perspective and definition of excessive. I am not really sure Mr. Seaton even grasps the concept of excessive.

I don't think 8 SubMersives would do much to your house that the first one or two wouldn't do. Just make sure you have solid construction and nothing that is not tied down well. I would be more concerned about what it would do to my marriage.

$16k plus shipping for the SubMersives (going up soon), the Sasquatch might be a touch cheaper, Terraforms a bit more, and the SubMersive XL...if you have to ask....

But the effortless bass production with ample overhead delivers intangible benefits that are hard to quantify compared to other available solutions blah blah blah.

The subs come with the amps built in! If you want the upper frequencies as well there are these neat little speakers called the Catalyst that also come with their own amplification built in. BEWARE though, the Catalyst attack the rest of the sound spectrum with the same no holds barred Seaton approach that his subs take to the bass world, so you will definitely want to invest in good hearing protection or make sure you are at least 7 miles away from the epicenter.
