I'll admit that I hadn't considered an iPhone 5, but some of the features sound interesting:

- bigger screen
- better cameras
- NFC (near-field-communication) chip technology
- metal back

I'm getting one. I'll be surprised if it has NFC though. Hope it does.

I won't be getting one, unless it is delayed until close to February 2013. It gets me that everybody considers this a "delay" when they haven't announced anything at all!

The main things I would like to see are a bigger screen, faster processor, and slightly better battery life. I'm loving my iPhone 4, but it lags when I bring it out of sleep and I have to wait to unlock it. Also, my battery at times doesn't last nearly long enough, but I'm sure thats a problem with almost all smartphones.

My wife wants one, but until they fix the battery issues, I dont know. And the fact that you have to mail it in to get fixed.

(Didn't I just go without my Droid X for a week because it froze, oh yah).

I'm sure we will be buying the 4 soon enough.. byebyeblackberry

Any idea when the ipod touch 5 will be coming out?

Interestingly they're saying iPhone 5 in September 2011 and iPhone 6 in spring of 2012. I wonder if that will hinder adoption. I do think that a lot of Verizon customer were waiting for the next gen though, so there should be a bit of a boost from that.

Technology is moving too fast... my iphone4 is already obsolete.
