My brother owns both and I like both. But with xboxlive's crossgame chat and thriving community, along with an ease of use that is better than psn, I'll pay $10/month for that.

I guess I just have more "friends" that play on there than I know that utilize psn.

I had an xbox die, and got a new one.

Otherwise, no other issues. And I guess I've just never liked the playstation controller. Grew up on the N64, and moved on to the 360.

The kinect has me intrigued too, not sure if I can get that into my setup.

While that may be true....I've had two PS3's crap out. First one made it a grand total of 20 something days. It's replacement lasted a day! I fold on mine and that's pretty much it. Since my first one had a Blu-ray drive fail, I'm afraid to put media in it. Fortunately I didn't experience this, but from what I read on the PS3 forums, any media that gets stuck in a machine that has to be returned you can pretty much kiss goodbye.

My PS3(original) died in about 4-5 years. I had FOTP trapped in there and they returned it to me. My Xbox 360(elite) died within 2 years. Things happen but my friend had 3 Xbox360's die and one Playstation 3.
