Howdy Gang,
I thought I'd share a nice little thing I discovered this week. Actually it's two things. First is a neat new little show called "Legend of the Seeker" which is modeled after Terry Goodkind's "Wizard's First Rule" series. I'm a bit of a Scifi/Fantasy geek, so I love that stuff, and I stubled across this series when a friend pointed it out. It's only on WGN, a station out of Chicago, but they host their full episodes on their Website at www.legendoftheseeker.com
I checked out the 2 episodes is it was decent. Good story, and if you've read the books, it's fun to follow along. What is really cool though is that I was able to browse to the website on my PS3, and watch the episodes on full screen on my PS3 through the web browser. Now that my friends, it dang cool. It actually looks pretty darn good, and I didn't have any hitching or artifacts. Sure it's not HD, but it's pretty good for streaming. Pretty sure HULU is serving it up, so the bandwidth is there.
Anyhow, just wanted to share this. Was a neat little revelation that you can just watch these movies from their website in my nice home theater.
Give it a try.
