AudioCircle is down

Looks like AC is down for awhile. JohnR posted yesterday that they are having server issues, but not sure why.

I am posting this here since it says to contact the AC admin, but no way to do that with the site down.

Seems like AC goes down fairly regularly. It happened for most of the day just a few days ago, and I remember a couple of months ago having it disappear for several days. Must be frustrating for sponsors with their own circles.

The decision was that since Hugh doesn't design the speakers himself (at least not the crossovers - he did pick the drivers out....) we don't qualify to have a Manufacturer's circle under the Angel City Audio name. I guess theoretically if the designer of the Trinity's were an ACA employee and not an independent contractor then we would qualify given Salk has a circle, but that's not really practical for us or him. Also, we can only have Melody circle if a Melody representative participates on the forum - which is impossible because they speak Chinese. (Melody's position is that Hugh is their representative in the U.S. - JohnR doesn't see it that way)

Either way, the support was overwhelming and we appreciate it, but them's the rules, even it it seems a tad nit-picky.
