movie role I didn't get

I was beaten out of a lead role in a film -and have planned to get my revenge on Matt Damon ever since.

It was just a few years later -around Christmas time
I think- when I ran into this group of chess enthusiasts
while checking into a hotel.
They were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After what seemd like an hour, I had
to ask them to leave.
One thing I can't stand are chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer.
