Yep, have done without them since the get-go.
I am from the pencil and paper days, the talk to the neighbor for hours across the fence or at the front porch times.

I deleted my FB page about a year ago. Haven't looked back since.

Oh I thought maybe this was a misquoted Led Zepplin title.

I have a Facebook page - I check it about twice a year.

        I have a twitter account - I tweeted once.

Yeah pretty sure I could do without them.

I think that is when you smack someone in the face with a book so hard they tweet their pants.

The Communication Shutdown is meant to give a neurotypical person a sense of what it is like to be be "disconnected" from the rest of the world. As a person blessed with the condition Asperger's Syndrome, I can empathize with this cause.

Communication and social interaction is very difficult for those with autism, especially the children that have not yet learned how to cope in a world that seems very strange and surreal.

I do not FB or Tweet, so I will not be participating in this cause myself. I do give back locally. I just felt obligated to pass this information along.

I think I'll just wear a ribbon to show I care.

I see you have N2s. My N3s are in the mail, probably about 50 miles away. I can almost hear them ...

I do, however, they are on Audiogon at this time. I am on my ever oscillating journey...which is heading back towards home theater. But hmmm, maybe three N3S would be sweet!

And maybe a moment of quiet reflection while you chose between pink or yellow... :sly:

I took two of the red, and two of the blue - was looking for Danny's posts on the Encore kits from down south.

                              Got re-directed... Go figure.
