For many, it has been an interesting 2010, and there is still 3 months to go. Some of you are aware of my youngest daughter, and her diagnosis of leukemia several years ago. She has done assorted fundraising opportunities, speeches, honoree events, etc. for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the past. Each year we participate in the L&LS Light the Night event, which will be occurring in 9 days.
With the upcoming date to potentially finalize the previous chapter on the raffle subject, I would like to let people know that there are many positive fundraisers out there that you can give directly to the charity. If you feel inclined to donate toward our Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraiser, then I thank you in advance. If things are a bit tight for you right now, hopefully you will be able to make a small difference in the future toward another fundraiser/event that you find worthwhile.
