Abstracts/Digital Artistry

I think I indicated recently that the challenge this month in the macro/close up section of The Nikonians is "digital artistry." I recognize that this kind of stuff is not everyone's cup of tea, but I really enjoy it as it allows me the opportunity to express myself beyond just snapping a shutter. It also affords me the opportunity to not be pigeon-holed into certain styles. I simply do not wish to remain "status quo."
