  • Bourne Ultimatum

I finally got around to seeing this movie yesterday. I really liked the first Bourne movie, and thought the second was decent. Boy, was I disappointed in Ultimatum. 20 minutes of plot (mostly recycled from the second movie) with 1.5 hours of shaky-cam chase scenes. The camera work wsa so awful my wife got naseus and didn't watch the last haf hour.

I'm also willing to suspend some belief for a movie, particularly i nthe case of a "super spy", but enough is enough. Jumping through plate glass windows without a scratch, hotwiring modern cars in seconds, surviving explosions, 100-foot falls into water, two severe car accidents while not wearing a seat belt and coming out fine, mysteriously having ID cards that give you access to high security CIA buildings , etc.

Sorry, rant over. I just wanted to like the movie and felt that I wasted 2 hours of my life.

Could not agree more with your assessment. The first one, imo, still
stands head and shoulders above the others. Matt Damon is very good.
I think the "shaky-cam" is really annoying - and in this movie was
      terrible. I hated it also.

The series had a lot of potential, but ultimately, the plot was what killed it for me. I thought the story was going to get really good but...it never happened.

I liked it... Could be the sound system influencing my vote... Definitely my go to reference tittle. Blows people away.
