  • Show your gear thread!

Well I looked but couldn't find one. All the other forums have a thread like this, so why not here?

    Here is my gear:

HT rig: Emotiva XPA-5, HK avr-435 as a pre pro, bell 6100 HD sat receiver, wii, 360, ps3 (not shown), n64, macbook pro, htpc (not shown), mac htpc (not shown), av*** x-statiks, voce, omni's, mfw-15 -> 5.1, panasonic 42" plasma (can't remember model off top of head).

    fiancee's nook: 17" imac, kenwood 75wpc receiver, av*** 525m

    pics:

I have lots of projects a head of me as well, acoustic treatments, what to do about my sub, ninja master upgrades for everything, new plasma (returned my other panny because of the black level issues and still searching), new pre-pro, dedicated transport for cd and another for blu-ray, better surge protection, new sat receiver, stand for voce and tv, stand for my media (have a lot it's just in boxes or in other rooms right now). and of course finish cabinet for my gear.

As you can see, television doesn't figure very highly around here. :biglaugh:

Here's my "B" stereo. Rega P25 with Shure V15xMR, Cambridge Audio 640P, Rega Planet CD Player, Bottlehead Quickie Preamp, Bottlehead S.e.X amp, AV123 X-CS w/ ninja elite mods.

My Home theater consists of Panasonic Bluray player, Sony MD Recorder, Sylvania DVD Recorder, Xbox and Xbox 360, Outlaw 1070 Receiver, AV123 X-Voce, X-SLS, and X-LS all modded with Sonicaps, Mills and No Rez. Also I built the GR/Rythmik Sealed Servo Subwoofer.

In the dining room I have a third system that mostly gets used for playing an ipod during house cleaning or if I drag the Xbox 360 in there. NAD integrated amp and Klipsch KG-4.2 speakers.

What is the thing hanging behind the speaker that looks like a beer can on the first pic? Also reminds me of a fuel filter.

                              It's a flux capacitor!
                              :SSH:

                              I'm guessing it's a ferrite core.
