I think Nebraska is in a worse position now to perform well in the conference for football. They always had a cake schedule with the Big 12 North being such crap. I guess it'll come down to how the new Big Ten does their scheduling though....my guess though is that at least they would have to play Iowa every year.
It's time to welcome the REAL Big Red to the conference (sorry Hoosiers).
I'm stoked - I'll get to see my Huskers play at the Big House, Ohio State, Purdue and Indiana (since they're local), Happy Valley (I used to live in State College), Illinois... I'm excited and think it's a good move for NU overall from a business perspective.
Only time will tell if we can return to our glory days from the mid 90's, but here's hoping we do...GO BIG RED!!!
Uh...Colorado and Nebraska were making us look bad anyway....while you're at it, take Missouri too. :stirthepot:
NU and OU are forever intertwined based on their history - NU wouldn't be where it's at, and OU wouldn't be where it's at without one another.
That being said, most OU fans should be embarrassed that they followed Texas like a lap dog...and if you're an OSU Cowboy fan, well, at least you had Barry Sanders at some point. :clapper:
Just :stirthepot: a little too :)
And if you happen to disagree, just see your signature as to why I won't argue too much on this topic :woo: :tanks alot:
I'm an OSU fan, but have been know to root for OU late in the year especially when we're not in the hunt.
Oh, and we had Thurman Thomas, and of course T. Boone Pickens :D
Oh man...I wish we had a billionaire to give the school a bunch of money...all we've got is Warren Buffet (although T. Boone takes the cake for amount given to football!) :).
