The $50 credits that you may have from the intial Gizmo can be used towards the purchase of a TCA product (except a single Gizmo v1.0M). I don't know much about the Giz, I just wanted to see if it could double as a headphone amp and if anyone has tried this. Any input? I'm in need of a headphone amp, but haven't started looking in to it too much.

Ray and Jack, I thinking about setting up my Grandmother with a WAF-1/Gizmo setup. She is having trouble understanding the TV even with her hearing aids. She has got a variable line level out on the TV. I have no idea what the voltage is, but worst case a pair of line level attenuators should work right?

I'm, not real knowledgeable about stuff like this, Don. But, my best guess is that, yes, it would work. However if she can adjust the line level out from her TV, I don't think it will be necessary. Can anybody with more knowledge about this kind of thing confirm or deny? Thanks.

Don - Yes, under the worst case scenario, you could pick up some attenuators. Usually, the audio output on a TV varies in output using the TV's volume control. You might even check this before ordering. :huge:

The gizmo worked fine on my samsung when I had it hooked up with my ELT525Ms. Is this a problem with room distortion? Maybe a few room treatments are needed as well.
