Amgen Breakway Ride Cancer fundraiser

A colleague of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and her husband rode in her honor in this Amgen sponsored ride last year. This year she is recovered and is participating in the ride on the Stage 8 intermediate course (62 miles). When I heard about this last week I also signed up for the intermediate course. The ride is this Sunday and is a fundraiser for the Breakaway from Cancer foundation. Finished my final training ride this evening, this is a tough course but it looks like I should be okay.

62 miles 5 hours 30 minutes including rest stops. Not too bad considering the tough climbs.
