  • If you're having a drink today - what is it?

So I logged in tonight to find the top 2 threads in this Happy Hour subforum are "The Beer Thread" and "Who's drunk??"...

I figured it fitting for everyone to talk about what drinks they're enjoying today..

I went out for "Mexican" for lunch and had a glass of Don Julio Anejo tequila... Very nice, but still like the reposado better.

A little bit ago I tried a gin and tonic with a New Amsterdam Gin and Q tonic water... The Q is different tasting from the typical Seagrams/Canada Dry stuff. It's sweetened with agave nectar, instead of having loads of high fructose corn syrup in it. This makes it less sweet, and as a bonus, a MUCH healthier mixer. At first, it seemed a little flat, but I'm diggin it now.

Not sure what's up for later...but I'm in the mood for variety tonight.

So tell me.... What did you drink today?

spent the early morning drinking dollar draft and water. blegh..

and a little while ago sat out on the deck with the woman and watched the cats play in the snow and sipped on a mojito.. she made them so no clue what was in the concoction... *shrug* tasted really good though.

Will probably have a nice piesporter tonight with dinner. then maybe a couple bottles granville island brewers IPA while me and the woman watch a movie or two.

Still think Craig is in the "Chase" for that sense of humour. :neener 1:

Brinley Gold Vanilla Rum and Dr. Pepper. It is the best tasting rum I have ever head, brought home a few bottles from St. Kitts. Unfortunately, it is not sold within a state of me. Pure heaven.

Just make a vodka tonic (Absolut). I also saw Tim Burton's "Alice" movie today and - Sweet Jesus - I needed a drink. I also need to find a dvd/blu-ray to wash that film out of my brain. . . .:fryingpan:

Damn you guys drink expensive liquor.... and, a Far Niente Cab?.... a weeks salary for some folks (maybe a lot more depending on the vintage).

I didn't embibe at all today. I was having enough trouble keeping my grout lines straight. :dizzy:
