...to partially set up your rig in your new house before you finish moving. Especially for someone with a natural proclivity for procrastination. :fryingpan:

Been stuck in the chair for a couple hours now. :D

This is just a rough setup. Need a rug, and curtain over the window. Panels will be hung to the sides. GIK elite pilar bass traps on order. Don't know when the other Adona stands will be in (they're very backlogged). Broke a tube on the pre/dac during the move and just ordered a matched pair of Phillips E80CC's gold pins that will be here Thursday (I hope).

Sounds MUCH bigger in the new room.

Enjoyed the LFT-VIII speakers that I owned for a few years, quite a bit. I found they sounded the best with a Muse160 amp, after trying quite a few with them. Also had the SoundAnchor stands, which did make a difference(not dramatic, but noticeable)

You're not the first person to say they sound good with that Muse amp. I got my original pair from an av123'er and I believe he used that amp as well. Currently I'm trying the big Emotiva mono's.

I didn't order the SA stands, because I had initially planned on stacking 2 pair, and Bruce Thigpen told me it would be better w/o the SA's so I could get them closer. Since I'm not going to do that (didn't care for the stacked setup) I think I'll order the SA stands now.

Nice looking rig . I'm looking at adding those mono blocks to my LS6's someday.
A knock at the door said "Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms" I thought it was a delivery.:biglaugh:

          Thanks DOJ :goodvibes:

I don't think I could stand to be in the room too long with these amps on your ls's running at full tilt. The dynamics would be sic though....:guitar 3:

I have two XPA-1's running my LS9's and I really enjoy them. They sound slightly more open than my older Sunfire. I can say that I rarely see more than 1-3 dots when listening to music and only 3-5 briefly when watching movies setting the LS9's to full range.

I really enjoy the XPA's and they look nice to boot.

I think your setup is really going to be nice Jason.
