NASCAR grew too fast, relying too much on being the "it" sport and not enough on cultivating loyal fans who would stick around for the long haul. It reminds me of what the NHL did in the 90's. Grew, relocated and expanded into unusual markets riding a wave of "the next big thing" but really didn't have a big enough fan base to grow the way they did and relied on the hype the media provided to promote their sport creating an artificial buzz.
That said, I got my Jayhawks until March/hopefully April and then its just brutal, brutal Royals all summer...:crap:Comment
