That kind of snowfall would add a good 5 minutes to my commute. Will probably shut DFW down :)

oh yeah....you know it...schools are closed today and will be tomorrow, we're shutting down our second shift and cancelling third with a tentative 10AM start for tomorrow...I grew up in Chicago so this stuff does not bother me driving at all, but in their defense here, there is no good plan or equipment for it when it comes to clearing the roads, as an example our big move is to put sand down....it really doesn't do much, just sounds grittier as you slide across the ice..

Yeah, it's supposed to snow 2-5 inches in the part of Alabama where I live. We'll just shut the whole state down for a couple of days as we're in the same shape as Art in Texas.....no equipment to deal with it properly. My wife and daughter left today to go visit her mother for a night. She may be staying an extra day. I'll be listening to some good music and playing Bioshock 2 on the 360. A little Daddy time is good for the soul.

Well we are working off over 50" of snow this winter. Had a blizzard yesterday just for fun. We finally have some equipment in this area to deal with snow but this is at least 5x the amount of snow we usually get a year. Supposed to start again Monday, probably the next stage of the snow that you are getting now.

Speaking of CA, my wife is there for work. She had a very long trip to the airport to leave. She has been posting pictures of the coast hiway and surfers. She comes home tomorrow and will have to drive through it again. At least she got to be warm for most of a week.

Geez Hal, THAT is a pounding! Stay dry and warm, I'm enjoying the 16 - KT88 and 8 - 6SN7 tubes heating up the listening room...

16 of the big 88's? Is that 200+ watts per side?

It is indeed! Have never seen this much snow in the area.

Glad the tubes are keeping things nice an warm. I turn on the Aleph 2 monoblocks to listen and warm up! :)

We also got some snow yesterday. This is how it looked in our area yesterday. This was when it was coming down about 2-3"/hour. :)

School was closed, so kids had some fun in the snow. Made 2 snowmen.
