With these two potent offenses it will probably end up something like 6 to 3 or something totally unexpected. I am hoping the Saints win, since I can't stand the Colts, but I am thinking if it were not for all the injuries to the Colts, it would be hard for the Saints to hang with them.
Just seems wrong to me to not be making our predictions....
I'll go first.....Saints by two touchdowns :mr-t:
(but a competitive game until late)
Tsk, tsk, tsk.... and I thought I liked you.... But hey, I love it that the country is in love with the Aints. They are the feel good story of feel good story's. Well, except for the fact that their coach was a scab and crossed the picket line during the NFL strike in 1997. But other than that, he seems to be a choir boy. Quite un-like his thug of a defensive coordinater Gregg Williams.
But TWO touchdowns? TWO touchdowns over a Peyton Manning lead team when he's had two weeks to prepare? :saywhat:
You give me two touchdowns I'll take the Colts and the points in any wager you care to make. I may be eating my words come Monday along with a big heaping helping of Crow, but all I've got to say to Who - Dat???

You may be right my friend. The Colts may indeed be in trouble without Dwight Freeney and now Reggie Wayne. But dang.... can't stand the Colts? But, then again I guess I can understand since they've punked the Patsies the last several times they've played.
:neener 1:
It says something that their genius of a coach refused to punt the ball to Peyton Manning with little time left on the clock - choosing instead to go for it on 4th and 2.... on a short field huh? :poke:
But I digress.... you may be quite right. 9-7 or 12-10 Colts by a safety. Yeah, I could live with dat.

I know those of from Indy failed to start the thread, but Quad's been super busy from reading his posts and I'm in Delhi (have to get up @ 4:30am to watch the game), so you'll have to give us a break.
Being a 49er fan @ heart, I'm happy to see either team win. We know Peyton will have the Colts ready, the variable is which Saints team shows up:
If the Saints team that played in the NFC Championship game shows up, Colts win the Superbowl.
If the Saints team that dismantled New England on MNF shows up, Saints win the Superbowl.
Looking forward to the game (at least my suite has a 40" LCD in it) even if I have to wake up @ the "butt crack of dawn" to watch it!

You forget I am a Bills fan but as for the Pats, that was definitely the right call at the time. The Pats defense was not stopping Peyton with over a minute left the way both teams were playing. The odds of the offense getting 2 yards was much better than the odds of the defense keeping the Colts out of FG range. The Pats were not a very good team this year, and their D was pretty bad at times. Heck they almost lost to the BILLS, yes the BILLS! Even the Browns beat the Bills, and the Pats needed a last second turnover to win!

Oh man.... I forgot you were a Bills fan. I used to really like the Bills. Back when they had Ferguson at QB and lost more than they won. Then we got the Colts and they got Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed and that DE who we could never stop.... what the heck was his name? Oh yeah.... Bruce Smith. Damn that was a fine team. If not for Scott Norwood ruining that teams psychie, they may have WON four straight SB's. Unbelievable they went four straight years in a row.
Damn Matt.... now I can understand why you're so bitter. :p Kidding obviously, but dang that must have hurt.

Hiya Phil....
No, not all that busy at all really. I went to the home show and did some networking and passed out a few resume's this past week and I've been working some on my bathroom, but honestly I'd rather be a lot bussier and be getting a paycheck. ;)
I responded to your last email a few weeks ago, but never heard anything back so I figured YOU were the one busy my friend. But "roughing it" in a SUITE in Delhi with a 40" big screen.... doesn't sound too bad at all my friend.
