Hugh pays off the bet -- Part I

If you caught it in several threads, Hugh bet me dinner at CES that I would be sick when I arrived in vegas (he doubts my health for some reason) and like the man of his word he is, he bought my dinner at a great group dinner Friday night when I arrived quite healthy.

I, and hopefully the other guys, really had a great time at dinner. We went to Stack at the Mirage and the food was incredible. Michael Perry was there, it was great to meet Kevin (Sandbagger = good dude), Nhan, Hugh, his son Anh, and my buddy Harve. We ate and drank and told true stories like men, it was just one of those good dinners you have every so often where the food, drink, restaraunt setting and the service, and company all clicks. We laughed our asses off, saw porn starlets out for the evening to party, football players, we had a good Pinot and several cocktails, and the food, mmm the food, there were these Tater Tots from hell (stuffed with cheese and bacon) so we gorged too....I just really enjoyed it all.

I was so close to making this trip last minute....aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!

Glad you guys had such a great time, though. I think I am going to definitely try to make CES next year.....and I'm looking forward to being tormented by more stories from this year's trip... :toast:

thanks for the dinner, Mr. Hugh! It was great hanging out with everyone. I wish I wasn't so tired that night. But that's what happens when I go without an afternon nap. Thanks to Michael for being such a great host!
