  • How NOT to drive a $1.6 million Bugatti

Best part is it is a SALT marsh!

Remember the amazing $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron lake crash blamed on a low-flying pelican? We have the video of it happening and there's not a freaking pelican in sight. UPDATE: The driver responds!

    OUCH!

I remember the Ferrari Enzo being damaged by Eddie Griffin because he made the rounds on late night talk shows and laughed about it.

For the super rich, this means nothing to them. They just move on to the next self-gratification tooling around toy and let the insurance world deal with the loss.

Actually the guy who crashed it buys and fixes up wrecked supercars, including the Eddie Griffin Enzo. Not sure what it will take to fix that thing after a little salt water got in to the engine transmission and all electronics, but atleast he seems qualified to handle it :D.

I think I just watched the equivalent of a supercar snuff film.

For $1.6 M, that thing should have rolled over and started doing the back stroke.

              Insurance fraud FTW.

This just smells of another publicity stunt like the Eddie Griffin Enzo thing. First there's no Pelican in the video, 2nd there just happens to be another car video taping the incident? :stirthepot:

We talk about how bad it is when people with supercars get in accidents, but noone seems to care that many people who buy those supercars don't use them at all. Many people wonder what it'd be like to drive a supercar..but if you own one and still don't know....that's crazy to me.

Those people are fine with me. They're keeping the cars in good condition for future owners who will give 'em a proper flogging. :jiggy:
