  • WooHoo!! Titans...

Thanks to you, my Raider's are no longer the worst team in the NFL...:woo:

That score looked like a college game, getting beat like that in the NFL is just painful.

They still suck, this changes nothing. Did the worst qb ever...err...Russell, play for the Raiders?

Yeah, but we're not the laughing stock (this week).

I'm not impressed with Russell so far, but he wasn't terrible today from what I can tell. (maybe one of these years I'll get the Sunday Ticket so I can watch more)

          What a weird week!

Patriots slaughter the Titans (I was expecting something of a win, but NOTHING like this!). I actually feel bad for Tenn., they've lost so much of their defense. Jackson looked amazing today (he always does), but he can't carry them.

Buffalo beats the Jets....implosion coming for NYJ? Or will they get it together for a strong second half? Sanchez, 6 inteceptions.

Raiders stun Philadelphia....nice to see that defense pressuring. What the heck happened to Philly though??

NO potty trains NYG. Even though the Giants beat the Patriots in the SB, I don't hate them. I respect their coach and their strengths far too much. But they got a whoopin' today. Their offensive line did NOT look good. I was thinking NO would squeek by with a win in a close game, and only because it's in NO. It seems no one has given them a lot of respect, even as an undefeated team; but they earned it in spades today IMO.

I only wished Baltimore could have made that field goal and beaten the Vikings. It's amazing how that team (Minn) gets some of their wins. But hats off, they DO get them.....

          Can't wait for Monday night....
What if the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it's all about?!

          Kinky Tom!

The Vikings aren't an especially great team, but Favre is still one of the best QBs of all time and Peterson requires a lot of focus on offense...you can't stop both of them because he'll find a way to exploit it. The Lions had a great chance to beat them and imploded (not to mention the Vikings got a few benefical calls).

The Jets are an above-average but not great team IMO...so not too surprised by how they've played.

Overall, its a fun season because even the top teams have their weaknesses...unfortunately, the bad teams are truly awful or destroyed by injuries.

My biggest gripe is the officiating...some games they don't call a single pass interference, other games they'll call anything resembling one. I'm really unimpressed by the consistency.

The game wasn't televised much of anywhere, but they couldn't run much and McNabb was off, completing only 22 of 46. Hard to say if that was good defense or bad offense, but from what I've read some of both.

I was watching the play-by-play in the internet as we were trying to get the ball back to go for the tying score. Had the raiders in 3rd and 10 and lost when JaMarcus-freaking-Russel completed a 13-yard pass. Boo.

Sanchez only had 5 picks, the holder on the FG unit tossed the other. I still give Sanchez the game ball from the Bills since he was their best player. Despite the win, the Bills looked real bad. O line can't block and they take too many penalties. The pass D is not bad until they get worn out by the horid offense not giving them rest, but the run D is pathetic. 318 yards rushing by the Jets? They need to learn how to tackle and how to fill gaps and shed blocks. That said, WTF were the jets thinking passing the ball in the 4th and OT? If they kept the ball on the ground they would have won.

Sanchez is not ready for NFL yet. Even Pete Carrol said so. Also, homeboy need to learn how to play in cold weather or else he will have many many more INT's.

What is happening to the Titans this year? Did they know that the preseason is over a long time ago?? :)

That game was just pitiful. Somebody(s) should be fired after that kind of showing....

Showing? From what I could tell, they did not show up at all! Fire the bus driver maybe? :stirthepot:

The cold weather thing looks like it could be a big issue for now, but just like "not ready for the NFL" it should pass with experience and coaching. The issues with the Bill's and Raiders are so ingrained in the organizations, even if they do pass, it will be a painful process like passing a kidney stone.
