Not sure when the fun begins, but thought I would put up this thread up for anyone that has anything interesting to point out to us or discuss.

Swung by for a few hours today to do a quick scouting for tomorrow, rooms that I intend on spending a bit of time exploring:
Lotus Granada speakers - open baffle full range speakers using Feastrex full range driver with 2 sub woofers. Very reminiscent of the DIY open baffle Lowthers Nelson Pass showed 2 years ago. Bonus, someone was playing Ramstein when I listened to them, and they were up to the task.
GR Research - the V1's (?) sounded good, maybe a tad too dynamic for my tastes, but I wasn't familiar with the music, so I look forward to a better listen tomorrow.
Virtue Audio - impressive mini amps and maybe a DAC in a room with some cool speakers - GR V2 (?), Omega Stick and some others. Also the RWA battery power supply. Nothing was playing when I went in today, but definitely interesting stuff.
Legacy Audio - First time I've seen the Whispers and the Helix, and they sounded great, they were one of the first I remember doing a variation on open baffle bass.
The First Watt room, since the last 2 shows it has been one of my favorites.
Channel D - Pure Vinyl room - as near as I can tell this does pretty much what Amarra does, and has all the Vinyl digitizing capabilities already functioning, for a lot less and without the oppressive copy protection. Nice demo and nice informative people. Plus the next release has gapless playback from RAM, which is very important for classical and live albums.
I missed you a lot since I needed a BIG guy to hide behind. :D
It's a good thing I don't lok like SHM at all.
Otherwise, I could be all bruised up. ;)
Check out my poking at you joke on the other thread.
And then there's Boenicke. I now know how to pronounce it. :)
SH & I walked by their room and I saw their new speaker but didn't notice their name on the door so I dismissed it until we walked back and then...
Their new SLS is not as good as the one from CES BUT it's still excellent.
Spent lots of time talking to Sven and I just might sign up to be their dealer.
To me, it's the best sounding and transparent speaker I've heard.

I would like to know:
1 - Favorite rooms you were able to make it to and why
2 - Fun factor reduction you experienced due to my absence....
Just walked in the door, Woofersus is on his way home. We left RMAF about 5 and got in the door here just about 2pm local time, so noon colorado time so it was 19hrs and that included a short 30min rest area close the eyelids and relax period.
