It has been kind of slow around here lately. With that in mind, I'll post a shot. I entered this in the Nikonians macro challenge for September and it got nominated. Probably won't win, but it is leading right now with approx 50% of the votes. We shall see.
It was difficult to make a nondescript subject interesting, but I shot it in extremely low lighting (from the chandelier in my dining room, dimmed way down). Shutter was open for 4 seconds. It is an interesting shot, with lots of contrast. Hope you like.
