  • 4 More Hummers

I spent most of yesterday grilling ribs and shooting hummers. Both turned out pretty good! Hope you like.

Holy birdcrap, that last one (OK, ALL of them) are incredible!!!! The texture of the feathers, reflection in eye....

    wow.....NICE work indeed

PS - glad you didn't grill the Hummingbirds and shoot the ribs....too many beers can do that to someone :biglaugh:
What if the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it's all about?!

funny how bigheaded they are compared to the rest of the body.

                  Very very neat shots!
Are you sure, that if I don't
look closer, that I would not see a thread or fishing line holding these
                  birds in place? lol

I catch them first, by hand, put them in a Mason jar, then put them in the freezer...makes hanging them by fishing line a lot easier.

                      Thanks for the kind words.

Arthur, if one starts with a beautiful subject, like I am sure your room will be, getting nice pics is a piece of cake.

Makes me want to get back into photography... Just one of my 4-year degrees wasted. :-( Unfortunatly it was the fun one.

                          Simply stunning photos Mike.

                          Thanks so much for sharing.

Trying to get good shots of hummers is very frustrating...but rewarding when it works.

I have not shot too much lately. I've been spending a bunch of time looking at buying either an old Mercedes SL or an M3. We shall see.

                            Thanks for the kind words.
