Crazy. One of these days I'd like to hear some high end horns like Avante Garde or something....

I'm not a fan of the horns, even the highest end one's I've heard...I just found this amazing...love it when a guy goes way further than expected!

I love the way horns look...I don't know if its just because its so different, but they look cool and you can make them look as crazy as you want.

You should hear a good waveguide that doesn't suffer from the typical honkiness horns have. Horns and waveguides offer sick dynamics, but there's really only a few models out there which are easy on the ears IMHO. Now, whether they're affordable or not, that's another situation entirely. I don't want to know what that guy paid for that room.

It looks like in the second picture the horn was built right into the wall.

It is, the wall is the baffle or whatever you call it with horns.

That's definitely one of the craziest looking rooms I've seen!

Did you have a chance to hear Danny's V1 horns? For some reason I thought you heard and liked them. I have been known to imagine things though..... :not listening:

Never heard any horns Danny has made...not aware that he has ever made any...I heard the Venue's, with coax drivers and servo's, but those aren't horns...

I enjoyed much of what the SP Tech waveguides did, and Duke at Audiokinesis makes some waveguide speakers I found very enjoyable...

Ah, I thought they were considered horns since the woofer acts as a horn for the rear loaded compression driver.
