  • Raffle for Dwayland

Hi all ... it is time for our first raffle on Tweak City Audio. This will be a relatively modest raffle. Here is how it will work: We are going to raffle off 5 pairs of WAF-1's and 5 Gizmos.

The WAF-1's will be prize #'s 1-5, while the Gizmos will be 6-10.

The tickets will be $10 each - with today's economy, doing more may be difficult.

This raffle will stay open until the WAF-1's arrive in Erie.

You may buy as many tickets as you like.

There will be no expenses against this raffle. If we raise $5000, all $5000 will go to Derek and family.

NOTICE - WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAYPAL PAYMENTS. SOMEONE REPORTED THIS AS A GAMBLING SITE TO THE PAYPAL PEOPLE. NICE, ISN'T IT?

As this raffle will last for several weeks, each weekend, we will forward received funds to Derek and family.

Let's have some FUN ... :crowd:

Here are the raffle ticket purchasers:

        Craig,

This is by no means the response I was expecting. :crying: Choked me up big time.

I have to admit though, this has me/wife feeling pretty guilty. Perhaps it's the amount of time that has passed from when **** was 1st. diagnosed, needed surgery and the medical bills started piling up, or that there are so many others much more in need than us, or that we were able to "get through" the worst of the storm mostly on our own. Granted, I had to dip heavily into my retirement since the rest of the "other" raffle money had yet to arrive.

I just don't quite know what to say, but I can say that I am truly grateful to know you. :salute:

I just can't help but feel really, really guilty...

Just so you can see who you will be helping...
Here is **** after finishing a week away in King, NC at Diabetes Camp.
We were so glad to have her home, but she had a great time at camp.
**** is on the left w/her best friend Shea on the right.

"Guilty"?? Gotta say, IMHO, your feelings are misplaced. I have read many post(s) on THE past raffles and don't see how that emotion applies.

                I could be missing something....Are you an X GM/AIG Executive...lol

You have been dealt a much more difficult hand than most of us, guilt is the LAST thing you should feel!

                    I'm in for two .

Derek - no need to feel guilty. The pics you provide
of **** are all that is needed to see that this is for
a great cause - and that one should feel very fortunate
if not in your shoes. Continued good luck to your family.
                    :salute:

And, thanks again to Craig

This is a super family that if met you would fall in love with. The children are glorious and the parents genuinely humble and down to earth. In for 3 and you all are always in my prayers and thoughts. It was a privilege to meet all of you.

The privilege was ours dear sir. The care and attention you paid to my daughter and the talk you gave to her was an inspiration to not only her, but to me as well.

                            Thank you,
