  • WHERE IS EVERYONE

    Hey guys,
Whats up, nobody feel like chatting or posting some interesting conversation?
All I can say is my A5's are really singin now and loving all that clean power they're feeding on. I also want to say how pleased I am using one A1b on it's side with tweet reoriented for the CC, clarity and plenty of output. Close to getting two of them wired in parallel vertically. I will first try with my 4 Ohm capable receiver, it's the only amp in the receiver I'm using, hopefully it will handle this configuration, we will see. I'm considering an Outlaw Model 2200 mono amp for the CC, it's really tempting right now, 200 watts 8 Ohms and 300 at 4 on sale for $279 and free shipping. :D
    Cheers Jeff

Yeah the forum goes dead every once in awhile. I think its mostly Jon's fault though, if he didn't give us such great sounding speakers, we would have more time to post on the forum :p

I've been busy listening to the A5s the last few days, moving the A2s from front use to surrounds has made it one huge sounding system. As soon as the wall mounts show up the A1s will be used a front height channels. Though about using them as rears but the A2 put out such a wide and large soundstage that the A1s would probably go unnoticed.

At least Jon should chime in and take the blame:D A2's as surrounds, interesting. I'm using my AA 340's now and I must say it really makes for a huge sound, I'll use them until the A2b's arrive. Hey Chad what mounts did you get? I was looking at these:

        And these:
        http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER.
Someone suggested that I fire my side surrounds at the TV or straight ahead towards front wall, I did this and the result was a well integrated huge field of sound, the surrounds did not draw my attention to them. I guess this a good thing, I've always had them firing towards each other. I look forward to your reply my friend with the mounts. Take care.
        Jeff

Hey Band the wait will be well worth it, the A5's are going to thank you big time.:D

I ordered the PinPoints that you linked first. They haven't received them yet probably will be middle of the week. Found out about them from this Arx owner http://www.avsforum.com/t/1401232/fi...smoken-theater uses them for the A1s which I plan to use them for too. But might also see if the A2s would work ok with them instead of sitting on shelves.

I use those same mounts, I really like them. They are great mounts, easy to setup, and hold the A1s very well.

Thanks sup, I don't know if I would put such a tall (A2) on that mount unless you think it will stay in place. Let me know what happens.
